Memory Moments Cafe's
On the first Saturday and the third Tuesday of the month the Memory Moments cafes are run from St Richards hall, from 2pm to 4pm. With refreshments, home made cakes, entertainment and some company the cafe's are friendly, welcoming and a great place to meet other people, have a chat or just enjoy to sit and enjoy whatever entertainment is going on. The cafe's are run by a team at St Richards Church in conjunction with Know Dementia, a local charity who can also offer support and advice as required.

Daybreak* - Age UK Dementia Support
Age UK run 'Daybreak' who help and support local people with dementia and in older age. Age UK West Sussex aims to help people maintain their skills and independence in a social and friendly environment, while allowing carers a relaxing break. Their sessions run from Monday to Friday throughout the year.
For those who have dementia, the social days involve group activities, cognitive stimulation games and include lunch and all refreshments. Carers may be comfortable in the knowledge that those who are usually in their care, spend the day in trusted hands.
For carers, there is a relaxing space at the centre where carers may gather together, chat and share experiences. If carers would like to take part in their own activities as a group. Sesions from 10am to 3pm and are held at The Yews, 55 Boltro Road, RH16 1BJ. Email [email protected] for further details.

Neil’s Club*
Respite day for carers, day out for people with early onset dementia to socialize in a supported group. Held every Thursday from 10.00am– 4.00pm at the The Beech Hurst Harvester.

Carers Support
Carers Support West Sussex is an independent charity who run support, a carers response line, equipment to help carers and also provide funds so that carers can do something for themselved. They can also help carers access counselling or wellbeing support and they also have a team at the Princess Royal Hospital.
